JenniferJennifer always dreamed of being a multi-tasking star. Jennifer was a lover of a wide range music styles when she was a child, and particularly Afro-Caribbean rhythms such as merengue and salsa as well as the bachata. As an adult, her preferred genres included pop music that was mainstream, R&B, and hip-hop. Even though she was a massive fan of music, her love for the film industry is just as strong. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her biggest inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Apart from becoming a budding professional entertainer Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirl, attending eight years in an Catholic primary school known as Holy Family which was located in The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls preschool, Preston High School after four years of attendance. Jennifer excelled in athletics during her time at school, and was a champion in track and field as well as tennis. In the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for the duration of her time. Jennifer quit her home at the age of was 18 and moved in with her parents. Lopez could work in a law practice during this period while also performing dance at night.
