Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her skills compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary vocalist in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut record Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album garnered a lot of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. is the companion album to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... It's the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992 when she released the album of Diva with many of her most popular tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was which was released in 1995, features the versions of a few of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Her credits include six studio albums solo and one compilation.
